The technology of leveling the plank floor before laying linoleum
In order to properly lay linoleum, you need to get rid of all kinds of irregularities on the surface, which are characteristic of various planned floors. This article will tell you how to do it
What will be needed:
– plywood sheets;
– DVP;
– insulation from mineral environmentally friendly materials;
– screwdriver and drill.
1. In the beginning you need to choose the type of plywood. This is done according to this principle: the more different irregularities in the floor, the thicker the plywood material should be.
2. To additionally insulate the floor, it is necessary to lay a strong insulation from mineral materials.
3. To fit the plywood to certain sizes, you need to cut off extra pieces;
4. After walking on the faner, you can assess its stability. If plywood bends in some places, then it is necessary to put pieces of fiberboard in those places and mark the problem place with chalk.
5. The places where the plywood sheets are connected, it is necessary to outcast.
6. Next, we attach the plywood to the floor by means of a drill. The screws are most effective to drive at a distance of 50 cm from each other. Do not twist them until the end! And in no need to fix the plywood in the so -called problem areas that you previously celebrated with chalk
7. Once again, walk on the plywood floor, thus, you will check the accuracy of fitting sheets one to another.
8. If everything holds tightly, you can safely pull the fasteners, lining the hats in the tree as deep as possible.
9. When the process is completed, you can proceed to the flooring of your chosen linoleum.
