Metal -plastic windows: design and technical nuances
Double-glazed windows are one-, two-, three-chamber and more. The basic model – a single -chamber double -glazed window – consists of two glasses of the same size, glued around the perimeter with a special reinforced tape so that there is a gap between them. Its width is different for various manufacturers and depending on the model. The space between the glasses is filled with dry air to avoid condensate formation; in more expensive versions – an argon that provides high quality window.
Mansard windows
This is a complex design of PVC profile or wood with double -glazed windows, installed on a roof at different angles. Carries a huge margin of safety, much larger than that of ordinary windows, since it is part of the roof and performs all the same functions as it, but at the same time it still passes the light into the attic, can open for different ventilation modes.
