Advantages of using a gallected timber for building a house
The construction of country houses in most cases implies the use of a tree. People for whom the proximity to nature and the health of loved ones are especially important, choose natural materials. A house made of a log of logs, the construction of which is not used glue, can be considered the most environmentally friendly option. One of the undeniable advantages of such a house is an excellent appearance inside and outside, which does not require additional finishes. In addition, unlike the chopped building, the house made of logs is not blown by the wind: the geometry of logs and grooves treated at the factory has high accuracy.
Thanks to this, such a house is easy to assemble, disassemble and, if necessary, transfer to a new place. The house is warmer, the lower the thermal conductivity of the material from which it is built. The tree exceeds brick in thermal insulation characteristics. A brick wall 510 mm thick in thermal conductivity is almost equal to a wall of a beam with a thickness of only 100 mm. Moreover, the difference in price is significant – a brick, as you know, is more expensive. No less important characteristic – relative humidity. In a house made of a log, it is 45-57% and practically does not change depending on weather conditions. The optimal boundaries of this indicator for humans are 40-60%, that is, the tree forms a favorable environment for living. In addition, a beam made of coniferous wood is famous for phytoncides that have been distinguished for many years. These substances have antiseptic properties, saturate the air in the house with a natural forest aroma, provide strong, healthy sleep, purification of the respiratory tract, cheerful well -being.
