Purpose and types of supports for pipelines
Pipe supports are an extremely important part of any heat -water system.
All this is because it is the support that takes the force from the pipeline and transfers it to the soil or to the supporting structures. A variety of types of supports for pipes are created to protect pipes from loads by weight, from sharp temperature differences, dangerous vibrations and other factors that can damage the pipeline.
Pipe supports are mobile and motionless. Mobile, or sliding supports move in directions set by the designers. When using such supports for pipes, you can not be afraid of pipe movements due to changes in temperature.
They are intended for installation in places requiring vertical loads. This type of support does not allow pipes to be erased ahead of time. Monitoring are used where you need to reliably fix the pipes in a given position.
They are most often placed in places of non -channel laying. All harmful fluctuations accept such supports, as they say, “for themselves”, and compensate for them due to their hardness and special compensators established between the supports. Of course, you need to use different types of supports for pipes in different situations, but all of them are indispensable in their field.
