Electric welding is the most used type of welding in modern industry. Each electric welder has a corresponding education, and has skills in working with all types of welding. The direct duty of the electric welder is to perform welding work to connect all metal items using an electric welding apparatus. Welders carry out welding robots with such objects as steel pipes, reinforcement – for obtaining frames, a channel, metal corners, various metal nodes of various purposes, and the like. Experienced electric welders who have a high discharge can work with metal structures of any complexity, so that their profession is always in demand, and highly paid.

Each electric welder must have a certain level of knowledge of his corresponding profession. For example, to know and be able to how to handle this or that type of metal, know the basic laws of electrical engineering, know and understand the devices, types and brands of various electric welding devices, and their power sources, understand the brands and properties of metal, how to handle it, and how this or that metal must be welded. Each electric welder should be well versed in welds, their tests for strength, and in the case of a seam defect, as this defect can be eliminated without losing the strength of the welding seam itself. The electric welder must have good vision, be careful, be able to notice even the slightest defects during welding. The electric welder must immediately evaluate the situation, and determine what type of welding is needed for one or another joint.
