Features of staining a relief surface
Stain easily the surface if it is smooth. Relief walls are more difficult to paint. The surface carries decorative elements, and painting will make them more attractive. Some subtleties in the work will have to be mastered.
More often embossed walls are stained in two colors or combined lines insert. When decorating, you can use different equipment.
For work you will need a number of tools: brush, spray gun and roller. If the entire wall is anticipated with only one color, then the surface is thoroughly primed before work. The paint goes more than with the usual staining of the walls.
The relief structure is more common when staining facades. To reach higher, you can use a special extension cord of the roller. As a rule, you can’t do without the use of the stairs.
If staining the wall portends the use of two colors, then you will have to glue the painting tape on the connection of two colors. Combining colors, the optimal effect is obtained, the zones in the room are released, and a pattern or pattern is created.
The paint for the embossed surface should be liquid. It should go to the surface as a thin layer. If this is not done, the relief of the surface will suffer. The painting tape should be removed immediately after staining.
To focus on the relief, you can use a sponge or a thin brush. It should be carried out on the paint without pressure, then the areas will receive a different color.
